- 60 minutes. The clock never pauses, not even if you close the tab.
- One clock for the whole paper. Move between sections with the tabs, in any order. Submit whenever you are done.
- Save & Next saves your answer. Jumping from the palette does not.
- Answered & marked still counts. As NTA marks it: +5 for a right answer, −1 for a wrong one, 0 for a blank. All 50 are compulsory, which means there is no choosing among them; a blank still costs nothing.
- This is Section A and Section B1 (Mathematics). In the real paper you answer B1 or B2 (Applied Mathematics); B2 is not in this mock.
- Stay on this tab. Each time you leave, you get a warning. The 4th time, the mock is cancelled.
- No calculator, as in the exam. Quit exam is in the top bar.
About this CUET UG Mathematics mock test

CUET UG Mathematics: common questions
- What is the pattern of the CUET Mathematics paper?
- CUET (UG) Mathematics / Applied Mathematics (319) has 50 compulsory multiple-choice questions in 60 minutes: Section A has 15 questions everyone answers, and then a candidate answers either Section B1 Mathematics or Section B2 Applied Mathematics, 35 questions each. A right answer is +5 and a wrong one −1, so the paper is out of 250. It is computer-based, and no calculator is allowed.
- Is the CUET Maths syllabus the NCERT Class 12 syllabus?
- Yes. NTA's 2026 syllabus for 319 follows NCERT Class 12. Section B1 covers relations and functions, inverse trigonometric functions, matrices, determinants, continuity and differentiability, applications of derivatives, integrals, applications of integrals, differential equations, vectors, three-dimensional geometry, linear programming and probability (conditional probability, total probability and Bayes' theorem).
- What is the difference between Section B1 and Section B2 in CUET Maths?
- Section B1 is Mathematics, the NCERT Class 12 Mathematics course. Section B2 is Applied Mathematics: numerical applications such as modulo arithmetic, mixtures and boats and streams, along with matrices, calculus, probability distributions, time series, inferential statistics, financial mathematics and linear programming. Both follow the same 15-question Section A, and a candidate answers one of them.
- Is there negative marking in CUET Maths?
- Yes. NTA gives +5 for a correct answer and takes 1 mark for an incorrect one. A question left unanswered scores 0. If a question has more than one correct option, any of them gets +5, and a dropped question gives every candidate +5.
- Which courses need CUET Mathematics?
- Economics, commerce, mathematics and statistics programmes at Delhi University and the other central universities often ask for Mathematics or Applied Mathematics among a candidate's CUET subjects. Each university sets its own subject combinations for each course, so check its admission bulletin before choosing.
