How it runs

  1. Read the instructions. One page, then the declaration and "I am ready to begin".
  2. The clock starts and does not stop. It is kept on Klay's server. Close the tab and it keeps going; come back and you continue with the time that is left. Leave the tab during the test and you get a warning; the fourth time, the mock is cancelled.
  3. The exam's own clock. IPMAT Indore, IIM Bangalore's UG test, the AAA and Mesa's test lock each section when its time ends. The MUSAT, FEAT and CUET's papers run on one clock, and you move between their questions freely and submit when you are done.
  4. The exam's own tools. Save & Next, Mark for Review, Clear Response, the five-colour question palette, a type-in keypad for short answers, and a calculator only where the exam gives one.
  5. The essay and video rounds too. Ashoka's On-the-Spot Essay and Mesa's email are typed on the clock. Mesa's pitch and "Why Mesa?" are recorded on your camera, one take each, and the video never leaves your device. These are not scored; you see them on your result.
  6. Your result, straight away. Your score, each section's marks against the bar that exam sets, accuracy, time on every question, and the solution to every question.

A free account gets one attempt at each mock, and quitting uses it. Test Prep lets you take them again and gives you every new mock as it is added.
