NPAT papers: common questions
Are these real NPAT previous year questions?
Some are: real NPAT questions from past papers or ones NMIMS itself published. The rest are written to the real NPAT pattern and difficulty.
How were these questions chosen?
Curated by talking to hundreds of teachers and analysing past NPAT papers, so they match the real exam's sections, question types and difficulty.
What is in each paper?
20 multiple-choice questions: 7 Quantitative Reasoning, 7 Logical Reasoning and 6 Verbal Reasoning, in the real exam's order.
How long should I give one paper?
17 minutes in one sitting, the real NPAT pace of about 50 seconds a question.
Are the answers checked?
Yes. Every question was solved without seeing the answer key, and kept only when the two matched.
Do the papers have solutions?
Yes, step by step, and the fastest way beside each one. Paper 1 is free, solutions included. In papers 2 to 5 the questions and the answer key are free - except a question that is also in a mock test, which stays hidden until you sit the mock - and the worked solutions come with Klay Prep's paid plan.
What is the NPAT syllabus?
Quantitative Reasoning: Arithmetic word problems: percentages, ratio, work, mixtures, interest, Algebra, Mensuration, Data tables, Quantity comparison and always, sometimes or never statements. Logical Reasoning: Puzzles and arrangements, Statements and conclusions, Series and odd one out, Coding, directions and relations. Verbal Reasoning: Reading comprehension, Sentence completion and cloze, Para jumbles, Error spotting.
